Vogue 1942 Shop/Store Counter Pattern Book - Great for Study, Fashion Students, Vintage wearers, Fashion Aficionados etc. To say that this is rare is a huge understatement. I bought them because I was a complete anorak about getting the style of clothing right for a particular year when I was doing 1940s re-enactments and living history. They are amazing books and full of information. If you look, you can see that they even give you an outline (albeit tiny) of the pattern pieces that you would receive in the envelopes. Someone who is an expert seamstress can really put this to good use - I used to make my own clothing and found these invaluable for drafting patterns of my own. The illustrations are second to none and I love the colourisation of the outfits. These books are an example of what was being worn in 1942 wartime fashion.

I was asked how many pages this book has - it has 1198 pages and is complete / intact. The item is described to the best of my ability and the condition is detailed in images.
