Very fine rare model antique john jelliff cherry book case single door, drawer

  
For sale perhaps, one of my all time favorite furniture pieces. This is a john jelliff, one of a kind single door bookcase with one drawer at the bottom. A fabulous antique made of cherry.

It is as near mint asyou will find. I use it as a china cabinet but it is a bookcase owing to the solid sides and the shelf holders on either side as well as a drawer at the bottom. Joints are doweled on the drawer. It has wonderful carvings, finials, columns which are twisted turned and fluted. It is pentagon shape and has a tremendous look.

It is a bit over 44 inches wide and 79 inches tall or so. I just love its look. Although I havemany pieces worth more, I don't know that I have any I like any better.
