Things of The Mind & Thoughts and Theories of Life and Education. 7 x 4.75 inches each. This set of antique books by Spalding is in very good condition! Finely bound in brown leather with elaborate gilt lettering and ornamentation. End papers are beautifully marbled, and the page edges are all tipped yellow. There is some light rubbing on the corners and covers, but overall these books are in amazing shape for age.

The leather is complete, the boards are strong, and the bindings are tight. Pages are clean and white, and the text is easy to read. This gorgeous two volume set of Victorian books on education and the mind would look amazing on any shelf!
