Set of 3 antique books The Friend Essays by Coleridge Rare and Collectible

  
This little trio of books is in remarkable condition giver their age of almost 200 years. This set is The Friend: a series of Essays to aid in the formation of Fixed Principles in Politics, Morals and Religion, with literary amusements interspersed, by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. This is the second edition published in 1818 by Rest Fenner. There are not many copies available, and I could find none that looked as nice as this set.

I've included many photos to show details of the condition. As you can see at one time quite some time ago, given the price! There was a penciled price in the first blank page of volume one.

There is also a lightly penciled name on all three. Besides that minor flaw, this set is lovely.
