A beautiful book by Flavius Josephus on his work titled Antiquities Of The Jews which is comprised of many works. This book includes 3 books bound in 1 containing 25 works on Jewish history and published in Milan in 1513 - 1514. The book includes many unique drop cap initials throughout showing classical scenes and floral decoration. Flavius was a first-century Romano-Jewish historian and military leader who was best known for his historical works on the Jewish Wars against Rome. Condition Note: The book is in good condition overall, cancelled stamp on the title page and original owner's name marked out, later owner's ex-libris on opening sheet. Rubbing is shown on the vellum spine and partial fading. The pages feature minor foxing but are overall in good condition as well. Pages are not numbered, features approx 1000 pages.
