Description: Up for sale is this rare and very interesting prayer book. Published in 1865 in Baltimore, MD by Kelly & Piet it has the imprimatur of Martin Spalding. This is a little hand book intended to be carried on a person. Wonderful enamel picture of the wedding of Mary & Joseph on front with Art Nouveau brass embellishments, crushed blue velvet cover, brass trim and clasp with the Virgin Mary embossed on the clasp. Book has all the original pages and is full of information such as feast days, vespers, psalms, devotions at mass as well as etchings of saints and biblical figures.

Up for sale is this rare and very interesting prayer book. Dimension: Measures 3.5" X 5.25". Good condition with all pages present. Some minor foxing to the pages. The purple crushed velet has been worn on the spine.
