To see my son's old books. RA IN B OW SE T! Generally all in good to very good+ condition for the age, the worse issues are mentioned. All pages are generally very clean, with only a few spots in the whole set!

Very few rips and folds! 4 have names written in the front.

Books are not quite as bright in color as they appear in my pictures [flash]. Only a few pictures in some of the volumes. Red= Robert Browning -some spots on back, bit wear to spine ends. Orange= Byron- really nice, bright gilt.

Yellow= Tennyson- this one is in the worse shape- bit slack, title page and 1 other with much edge wear, front hinge has been taped, title page almost loose, gilt that was on the edge of the textblock is almost gone, tips worn. Green= Thomas Hood- tips wee bit worn, spine ends with wear- esp. Blue= Edwin Arnold [The Light of Asia]- bubbles to the back cover, most of the pages are bumped [as though the book has been dropped].

Violet= Tennyson -discoloration to the cover - mostly the back, there was never any gilt to the textblock edge on this one. Beautiful Victorian era -most with gilt. 7.25" by 5.25" w/ pages. A NICE SET FOR YOUR LIBRARY!

This book is very old and. May have accumulated bad smells along the way [musty basement/ mildew/ smoke]. Dryer sheets in them for a few months makes a world of difference! My nose doesn't work like it use to. So the old book smell doesn't bother me.
