Not sure why they put "housekeeping" in the title - not much in here for them.

Photos carefully as they are part of the description. All of my books are VERY OLD and have 100+ years of wear to varying degrees. Boards - very secure - small bit of wear & dirt. Very good - wee bit of wear to the edge of the spine [front]. Spine ends - good - some wear. Very good for its age. Inner hinges - very good , when you open the book it flips open to the dedication page. Pages - very clean, just a few small spots, bit toned but still very flexible. Writing - none - & there are apx 30 blank pages towards the back that were meant for your recipes - not one page was written in! Rips /folds - 4 small rips that I saw - no folds.

A good solid book - not sure how this one survived so nicely! A NICE ONE FOR YOUR COLLECTION! I have more old cookbooks! Please Add me to your Favorites list.

This book is very old and. May have accumulated bad smells along the way [musty basement/ mildew/ smoke]. Dryer sheets in them for a few months makes a world of difference!

My nose doesn't work like it use to. So the old book smell doesn't bother me.
