ORIGINAL Antique Rare Family Holy Bible. SIZE: 13" x 10.5" x 4. Murdoch, 41 Castle Street, Holborn, London. CONDITION: VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT and daily usable.

Minor typical wear for its age, some smudges, some occasional foxing. Corners show wear on leather. This large Family Holy Bible is in excellent condition and a fantastic addition to a collection or as a great investment to be displayed. This Bible has an indented embossed leather cover with brass corners and clasps in perfect working condition. Bible is from the early 1800's containing Old and New Testaments. An extensive introduction; marginal references and illustrations. Exact summary of the several books; a paraphrase on the most obscure or important parts; explanatory notes, evangelical reflections, etc. Published by the late Rev. John Brown, minister of the Gospel at Haddington in the early 19th Century. Bible contains many additional references, and a life of the author. Great illustrations in color and black and white. PERSONAL COMMENTS: I'm not an expert on antique books or bibles to provide historical facts about this rare bible.
