Title: The Practice of Medicine. This is a very rare "holy grail" type book for medicine. This book is full of fascinating physiology; the majority of which is still recognized today. Pub date: 1891, fourth American Edition. Measures 6 x 10 x 3. Condition: Please see detailed pictures. Condition is FAIR to POOR, consistent with expected for a 120+ year old book. Covers have notable wear but are attached, the front cover is loose at the bottom. BOTH FRONT AND BACK COVERS ARE REINFORCED WITH CLEAR TAPE ON THE INSIDE. Cover corners and spine edges with bumping. Binding tight and together, all pages intact. There is some secondary writing or underlining within the text. Pages have some mottling and a few stains throughout the text, but all text is legible. Would make a great gift for a professor or student!
