What a true rare treasure this is! I have seen bits and pieces of this kit for sale before, but I have never run into the complete set including the original wood box. Im very happy to bring this to you and this is what I can tell you about it.

This came from a nice clean estate sale. This includes the original book. The book is in very good condition with no writing in it other than the original owners name in pencil on the cover. This was offered for sale by the Standard Dress Cutting Academy. The book is dated 1897.

This is all part of the Standard Garment Cutting Co. You will receive everything pictured.

The wood box that this all fits in is in fairly good condition considering its well over 100 years old. The hinges and latches are a little loose but still function if closed properly.

It does come with two curved squares as well as the adjustable Victor measure square. The book is extremely fascinating, even for somebody whos not interested in sewing or dressmaking. The cloth tape measure Im not really sure if that is supposed to be part of the kit, but Im assuming it might be. Since its been together for so many years, I would hate to break that up. This wood box measures roughly 23 x 6-3/4 x 1-3/8.
