This book was probably the most in depth! And complete treatise on all things scuba back when it was published in 1957. It is unique in that one of the authors is Jacques Cousteau and he is listed here as third author...
Something that he made sure would never happen again! Though much of the content will be now known to experienced divers it is a historically important book with some nice illustrations and even a mention of in-water recompression!
The fact that so few copies of this remain dictates that this is suitable for serious collectors and museums dedicated to diving history. Hard back, green cloth over board, no inscriptions or scribbles, appears unread, complete with table of repetitive dives in back, 185 pages.
