New Cyclopedia of Domestic Economy and Practical Housekeeper.

Very large book - apx 9.5 by 6.5 and 2.25 thick with 621 pages plus a few ads. Preservation of health, domestic medicine, art of cookery, perfumery, toilet and cosmetics, plus much more! Please zoom in photos as they are part of the condition. Full leather binding in very good condition with some discoloration bottom back side. Marbled endpapers and page edges.

The only issue with it is there are a few pages with very small stains [very small], the title page was ripped badly and taped back side, along with it starting to come loose, and the other color plate had it's tissue stick to it. I was able to carefully scrape about 1/3 of it off with my fingernail. I'm a busy mom though so I will leave the rest to you. Just go slow and gentle -it should come off.

T can take up to 14 days to get back East, it's rare, but it does happen. This book is very old and. May have accumulated bad smells along the way [musty basement/ mildew/ smoke]. Dryer sheets in them for a few months makes a world of difference!

My nose doesn't work like it use to. So the old book smell doesn't bother me. As far as I can tell -this book has no bad smell.
