Title: Civilization in the United States; first and last impressions of America. With a section on General Grant. This is a RARE book. Beautiful Antique book that is great to read as well as pretty to look at on a shelf. Measures 5 x 8 x 1. Condition: Please examine pictures closely. GREAT CONDITION for a 100 year old book!! Covers have some expected shelf wear for age (light scuffs, scratches, stains). Cover corners and spine edges with some bumping. Cover boards are firmly affixed.

Binding is tight and intact. Tanning on page 161 from a paper that had been placed in the book (see picture).

One page has a nick out of the top right corner (pictured). No writing or stray marks from former owners other than signature at the inner front cover. Overall a GEM of a book.
