We just acquired a music box collection. The lady who owned them was an avid member of a music box society. My last photo will show you a sample of some of her music boxes which are currently available. We look forward to representing the rest of her collection over time. This is a very unusual antique music box.

It is in the shape of a fancy, thick Renaissance book and sits on four splayed feet. Every surface of this gorgeous box is decorated with flowers or scrolls.

It is silver over copper. Some areas have been cut to the copper to give a golden contrast in the decoration. This was a top of the line cigarette box from an era when smoking was all the rage!
