Antique Liliput Klassiker set of 11 books in the original case. These are beautiful tiny leather-bound volumes with embossed gilt titles and borders. The books have decorative endpapers and the edges are either gilt with red corners or all red. They were published by Schmidt & Günther of Leipzig and have publication dates from c. The books in this collection include.

They are cased in a leather-covered box that is embossed Liliput-Klassiker in gilt lettering with additional stamped gilt decoration around the edges. We are not book experts. The books measure about 2 by 1 3/8. The box measures 5 3/8 by 2 1/2 by 1 7/8. Please be sure to view all of the photos.

The exterior of the box has wear and edge losses to the leather covering. The books all show varying degrees of wear. The Iphigenie auf Tauris volumes pages are separated from the spine on the inside. Hermann und Dorothea is partially separated.
