For sale is a rare vintage 1904 hard cover Kris Kringle Story Book by McLoughlin Bros. The book cover features a beautifully colored and hand-gilded (in gold) print and a lithograph of a pipe smoking Kris Kringle driving an old vintage car loaded with toys. The first inside page features a beautiful chromolithograph illustration of Santa Claus looking over a baby in its crib. There are many illustrations throughout the book in pen and ink drawings framed in a red design.

This rare antique holiday book has many unnumbered pages that accumulate to 1 inch in thickness. The pages have not yellowed very much like other antique books. Only a few pages had slight tearing that has been repaired with tape to prevent further damage. The blue cloth covered binding is still tight and "Kris Kringle" is still legible in gold gild. The first inside blank page has some pencil drawings (probably by a young child). The book measures 10.5" x 9" x 1. Please carefully review all twelve (12) photos as they are part of the description.
