Found in France, a beautiful carved wooden book stand (possibly rosewood) with a lovely aged patina. Carving features a central rose surrounded by carved leaves and branches.

There are some woodworm holes but these are not active (treated in France). Measures 11.5 inches tall and 12 inches wide.
