RARE Antique DWYER'S HORSE BOOK by Francis Dwyer ALDINE EDITION 1st Edition NY

  

I collected many horse items and books, and this is one of them. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before are now extremely scarce, and increasingly expensive. This is a rare American published 1st edition of this classic horse book from the mid to later 1900s. This being published by the International Book Co. The book is in excellent condition for a book printed over 128 or more years ago.

The front and spine of the book is quite ornate, with a base color of a dark brown with black background. On the front is " Liber at Que Doce", which I believe translates to " A book that teaches". A comprehensive book on training horses and the equipment used.

This book has only a little bumping to the ends of the spine, and the paper is age-toned. Otherwise, there is really no real damage. The book was inscribed by C. It measures 7.50" x 5.25" & 1.0 thick. There is no publishing date in this book, but I feel it is a first American edition.
