Lloyds Natural History British Birds. Volume 1, 2 3 & 4. For your consideration this rare 4 volume 1896'A Hand-Book to the Birds of Great Britain'. D, Assistant -Keeper, Sub-Department of vertebrata, British Museum. Published by Edward Lloyd in 1896. This book is part of the Lloyds Natural History series. Vol 1: 340 pages complete with 31 colour plates - please see photo for list of plates. 308 pages complete with 27 colour plates - please see photo for list of plates. 338 pages complete with 35 colour plates - please see photo for list of plates. 314 pages complete with 35 colour plates - please see photo for list of plates. I do have further editions for sale so please contact me for a combined discount. An excellent addition to any collection or a thoughtful gift.

In good condition for the age of the book. Wear to the cover of the spine on all volumes but all still attached.

Pages and plates are generally clean, the odd little spot or mark here and there. Vol 1: Pencil scribble to first and third side of pages and a few pages throughout the book, a corner tear to 2nd side and a few loose pages.

Vol 2: Pencil scribbling to a few pages throughout the book and few loose pages but all still attached. Vol 3: Pencil scribbling to a few pages throughout the book and few loose pages. Vol 4: Third page missing approx half the page pencil scribbling to the last two pages. The photos can probably provide the clearest representation of condition so please examine these carefully. 19 x 13.5 x 3 cm.
