Nice fold-out anatomical plate in front, plus many illustrations throughout book. Interesting text to look thru for perspective of medical knowledge at the time- much of which would be considered quackery/ sexist today. Focus on hygiene, marriage, purity, pediatrics, tocology, care of baby, diseases of women and children. Good book for its age, Please see photos for condition. Has name written in ink on inside cover.

Pages have some brown discolorations. Binding has some breakdown (see photo). There are two pieces of the fold out section that are unglued from the book (see photo). They both have the tab intact; one could probably be easily repaired but one of them is in two pieces.
