RARE 1889 Antique CALLIGRAPHY Hand Written AUTOGRAPH BOOK Penmanship BIRDS

  

Presented for your consideration is this rare antique calligraphy book. The book was originally designed to be an autograph book but was used as a calligraphy and penmanship book.

All of the letters and names in the book are hand written and there are several beautifully details hand drawn pictures throughout the book as well. Some of the names in the book are: M. Nelson of Independence, Kansas, J. Thomas of Sheridan, Montana, J. Harryman of Okawill, Illinois, G.

Only one letter is in the book and the rest of the signatures bare sayings like "Yours Truly" and Compliments. The 27 page book is finished with a green, velvet cover. The book dates to 1889 and is guaranteed to be antique and original.

The handwriting and drawings in this book are so elegant that they are breathtaking! A rare find that would make a great addition to any general antique collection! Light fading and wear is on the cover. Light tearing is along the right hand edge of the title page and a another tear is in one page toward the back. Two pages in the middle have some light staining along the spine.

Typical wear from age and use. Free of any significant damage. Overall in VERY GOOD condition for its age.
