RARE 1852 "LECTURES ON ANCIENT HISTORY" NIEBUHR VOL 2 ANTIQUE BOOK (P5). Great RARE antique fine binding leather hardback book from 1852 containing the lectures by B G Niebuhr on " ancient history from the earliest times to the taking of Alexandria by Octavianus comprising the history of the Asiatic nations, the Egyptians, Greeks, Macedonians and Carthaginians ". Photo 20 shows a name in antique pen dated 1860 on an initial blank page. Binding and other pages inside are in superb condition especially as the book is 172 years old.

Measures 22cm tall x 14cm wide x 3cm thick. See photos for content pages and examples of pages inside. They are working to resolve this (allegedly) but estimates are too short.
