RARE 1738 "THE SPECTATOR" VOL 4 #252-321 ADDISON STEELE ANTIQUE BOOK (P3). Great RARE antique leather small hardback book from 1738 containing reprinted issues of The Spectator "papers". Volume 4 only and contains paper #252 (19 Dec 1711) to #321 (8 March 1712). Photo 18 shows a name in pen which has marked the opposite page (see photo 19) and pencil writing from a previous bookseller on an initial blank page but binding and other p ages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 286 years old.

Measures 16.75cm tall x 10cm wide x 3cm thick. See photos for examples of pages inside. They are working to resolve this (allegedly) but estimates are too short.
