Octavo: 10" x 7.25". 1846, first illuminated edition, by Owen Jones. Illustrated with 36 chromolithographic printed pages. Bound by Remnant & Edmonds of London. Bound in a beautiful Relievo full leather binding with the title embossed on the front cover and bordered by ivy leaves.

Pages printed on heavy weight cardstock paper in full color. Binding shows only very light wear, and some rubbing around edges. For age this is a wonderfully preserved copy. Pages show have a few small age spots scattered, but are overall clean. 2 Previous owners attached their ex-libris bookplates to the inside front cover and the first blank.
