Splitting of the front inside hinge, shown in the listing pictures. When the book is handled the edges of the book cover boards flake and chip a bit. Book is complete and although there is splitting of the front inside hinge and the spine is a bit loose the binding is quite strong and one can confidently flip through the pages of the book. Pages are an off-white color and still quite crisp.
