The pages are in good condition as well. There appears to be one clipped page 55. Otherwise the work is complete -Niccolò Liburnio (Friuli, 1474 - 22 September 1557) was an Italian scholar and priest of the Church Of Santa Forsca in Venice.
He was a well known religious figure in Italy at the time. This is one of his final works. Marco Cadamosto and printed in Venice in 1545.
Published by Gabriele Giolito de' Ferrari in 1545. His famous printer's mark was the Phoenix rising from the flames and motto "Semper Eadem" which is Latin for "Always the Same".
Gabriele was well known for his publications of French Poet Joachim Du Bellay and a 1555 edition of Dante Alighieri's Commedia. Errors and things to note: On the inside of the opening cover, there is a compiled clipping which was done by a later owner most likely. Possibly an 18-19th century owner (See Picture 12).
