Size approx 185 mm x 264 mm x 30 mm. One of the most important - and surely most beautiful - works on Japanese architecture, by a key figure of modernism.
This book is a record of the three years Taut spent in Japan after having been forced to leave Germany in 1933. The gorgeous frontispiece and other tipped in colour plates are protected by tissue guards. Condition: Very good indeed - a wonderful clean and bright copy, with just some minor fading and wear to the spine. Please do not copy either in full or in part. There are many more items in my shop that don't appear in regular item searches.
UK buyers only may also pay by cheque or postal order. If it's a cheque, please allow 7 to 10 days for it to clear. In exceptional circumstances it may be possible for overseas customers to pay by other means such as bank transfer. But this is by prior arrangement only. Believe me it is becoming increasingly difficult to make ends meet on here as it is!
Thank you for your understanding. Please note that, unless clearly stated otherwise, my listings are for vintage/antique objects and therefore, by definition, are not going to be in the same condition you would expect from a brand new item. Please be assured that I always endeavour to offer the most accurate description possible of the item's condition and take multiple illustrative photographs.
