Homer's Iliad Translated By William Munford Volume 1 1846 Rare Antique Book

  
I believe this book was given to someone name SB walker in 1857 as their name is written inside the front cover. The name is written again on the title page. The book has obvious signs of wear and age, as it is extremely old. There is much staining and discoloration on the pages in the hard cover, is scuffed up, particularly around the corners and outer edges. There was a bunch of newspaper clippings with poems inside of this book that I will include with the book as it is part of its history.

I believe most if not all of the articles came from the Lynchburg Virginian newspaper from the late 1800s. There are places in the book that are discolored where the newspaper clippings sat inside the pages for years.

There are places in the pages of the book where the edges are torn or missing parts around the edges and corners. The pages are quite delicate, and should be treated as such.
