The Little Mermaid, Illus Rie Cramer, Blackie and Son Ltd, c1953. For sale is an extremely scarce example of this Rie Cramer Illustrated Fairy tale.

It's a classic story but rarely told in such beauty. Every page is illustrated, and there are many full colour plates rich in colour and fantastic in style. A very hard to find Cramer from the Golden Age of Illustration. No copies online anywhere although one did sell at Jonkers rare books for a lot more than my asking price.
