By The Bay is an extremely rare, hard to find book of verse by Lucia E. Loring (Smith), frontispiece from a bas relief modeled by Bradetta L.
Of this edition only 250 copies were imprinted by the Tomoye Press, San Francisco, for Paul Elder & Company, under the direction of J. Nash, in the year nineteen hundred & nine. It is in good to very good overall vintage condition. There is a little fading on the cover boards and spine, the corners are bumped and bent a tiny bit, some pages have minor creasing, front pages have discoloration from pasted newspaper articles about the book. The binding is tight, and the pages are clean.

Measures 7 1/4" x 5 3/4". 1 of 250 copies imprinted by the Tomoye Press under the direction of John Henry Nash. Excerpt from the book, page 7... The sky has an opaline sheen. Turquoise melting through gold into. With the silver flash of a curved blade. Like a cimeter sharp and keen.
Where over the glistening Bay. You linger, so far away. The masses of purplish blur. Outline the City's height. And the flashing and vanishing lure.
Is like a mischievous eye. Everything's fickle and changing, like opals. But not you nor I? This item is in the category "Books & Magazines\Antiquarian & Collectible". The seller is "knnjamison" and is located in this country: US.This item can be shipped to United States.
