Very scarce rare hardback collectible book. BEAUTIFUL BIRDS IN FAR-OFF LANDS: THEIR HAUNTS AND HOMES. By Mary and Elizabeth Kirby, authors of "The World At Home, " "The Sea And Its Wonders, " Etc. Also contains many high quality colour illustrations, described as the following in the preface. A mere description of the Birds would have failed to convey any idea of their loveliness; but the Coloured Illustrations which embellish the work bring them before our eyes with life-like reality.
