Gorgeous 100% original early edition early printing 1911 copywriting edition of "The Sea Fairies of Oz". This is a nice copy with good cover art, some minor cover soiling and scratches. However, the artwork displays nicely. Good clean readable spine with some minor top fray, bottom fray, and edge rubbing with some color loss.

Bound in the exceptionally hard to find green fabric hardcover edition. The books front gutter is split, but holds together well with the original mesh. Back gutter is mainly intact.

Last half of the book has the top corner of the page missing a small piece. Books back is clean with some scratching and a top corner bend with corner rubbing and a spot towards the top of the back cover which has a small impression of an object which has been sat there. All color plates are intact and all pages are there. Some color plates have one or two small tips in the white bordering of the pages.

Clean crisp pages overall with minimal staining. Very nice readable and displayable copy at a fair price point. Well bound for its age; very stable condition.
