This is an Antique Rare Rose Valley style Book Stand from the early 1900's. This stand is in very good condition with an old refinish on it. The cutouts on the sides are the Rose Valley symbols and that is how you can tell that this is a Rose Valley piece.
As you can see in the pictures this stand has a through tenon construction and this through tenon is better than Gustav Stickley's!!! The through tenon on this stand is perfect and the best you can see in Mission furniture.
