Description : A scarce antique English Biscuit Tin, Huntley & Palmers, ca. This is the "Bookstand", a miniature, figural double-decker Library Bookstand with embossed and lithographed books resting on four knobbed feet.

Features an array of period titles, including a dated 1905 Almanac. This is only one of two H&B Tins with a date that I know of. Lid interior stamped: HUNTLEY & PALMERS / + BISCUITS + / READING & LONDON. As shown; otherwise Good with bold graphics and desirable subject matter. The hinge is original and the lid closes securely.
