Up for sale is this beautiful and rather scarce antique 1866 copy of Pen Pictures of the War. Lyrics, Incidents and Sketches of the Rebellion. The book is divided into 3 parts: Lyrics of the War; Anecdotes, Incidents and Pictures of the War; and The Great Battles and Records of Events. It is overall in very good condition.

The covers only have some minor wear as illustrated in the photos. There is a very slight bit of play to the front hinge when opening and closing the front cover, but the hinges look good and the binding of the book is still good and sound. The interior is lightly toned from age but is generally very clean, though there may be the occasional page with some kind of minor imperfection such as a minor bit of foxing, tiny stain, light grubby mark of smudge, small tear or chip, creased page corner, etc. Generally though, it's a very nice copy.
