Divorce: Binding in fair condition, shifty, floral ffep loose, floral rfep absent with web showing, title page absent, internal pages with apparently no gaps and in very nice condition.

A rare, complete set of: The ancient history of the Egyptians, Carthaginians, Assyrians, Babylonians. Medes, and Persians, Grecians, and Macedonians by Charles Rollin translated from the French to which is prefixed A life of the author by the Reverend R. Hartford: published by Judd Loomis and company 1836. This is a full and complete set of this work in full calfskin with blind stamped decoration to front and back covers and gilt lettering, decorations, and bars to spine. Volumes vary in condition; the worst being volume one, which has a detached front cover.

Many, but not all, have also front or front and back hinge crack. Internally, there is mild foxing throughout. 1 has damp-staining to the first 1/3, offsetting to end papers.

3 has a few small bookworm holes at the rear gutter. There is a frontispiece in volume one and an inscription to the free front end paper, Formerly part of the Library of Jonathan Hall the 4th. " Above that, in quill is a faint "Eli Hall. The spine on volume one is cracked with loss and a bit of loss at heads and heels, please see photos which have been provided for fronts backs and spines to indicate flaws.
