Updegraff was a columnist for the Saturday Evening Post and in 1916 he wrote this story. Obvious Adams is subtitled "The Story Of A Successful Business Man". This book in modern reprint is still often used in today's business schools as evidenced by the plethora of paperback versions for sale. Copy is in good condition.
Bumping and minor fraying to the corners. Spine has some minor damage: fraying to top and bottom and the covering at the top has come a little loose.
Binding and hinges in very good shape. Interior is very good indeed. All leaves clean and unmarked and still bright for their age with only slight yellowing. An exceptionally scarce edition of this classic. Now that we're both retired, my wife has been cleaning out closets, drawers and desks.
