1867 What the Moon Saw Hans Christian Andersen Rare Antique Book Fairy Tales
This antique 1867 book titled "What the Moon Saw", published by George Routledge & Sons, comprises a collection of uncommon stories written by Hans Christian Andersen. It's illustrated with 100 Victorian engravings by A. Hayes and was translated by H. Its sienna-colored cover is embossed, with a beautifully gilded title. This book measures about 7 1/2 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide. The gilt on its cover is still bright, but there is some abrasion to the corners and top and the head and tail of the spine and the back coer is cracking somewhat from the spine. The front and back flyleaf are both missing, but the spine is strong and the pages clean.
