Absolutely beautiful and unique binding! Nearly the entire front and rear covers are stamped with gold gilt.

It's not unusual to see a little bit of gold gilt design on spines and sometimes covers during this time period. But it's very rare to see this much gold gilt used on the covers. Binding appears to be original and shows some wear.

Loose signature in the middle that is protruding. Though worn, the binding alone makes this a wonderful collection addition! Measures around 7" x 4.5" and about 1.75 thick. The majority of books I list are 150+ years old. I do my best to describe imperfections and flaws in the item description, but please review pictures for the best idea of the condition.
