Pennsylvania German Evangelical Reformed Church. Gesangbuch / Sammlung Lieder / Catechismus.

Printed in 1799 by Michael Billmeyer - Germantown, PA. Previous owner's name written in book "Catarina Mönner". This book contains three volumes in one. The first is a "psalter" consisting of the entire book of Psalms (148 pages). The second is a collection of 700 Evangelical Reformed hymns (585 pages).

The final section is a Catechism of the denomination (26 pages). Publisher: Michael Billmeyer - Germantown, PA. Size: 16mo - 6½" x 4" not counting the cover Numbered Pages: 759 Binding: Leather over Wood (original) with Clasps. Very nicely preserved; f rom a non-smoking environment ; faint old book odor / no mildew odor. I find no marked, missing, or abused text pages.

Some incidental dog-ears, and a dark stain on front endpapers that also bleeds to the inner title page. Previous owner's name in front.

Spine and boards showing very minimal wear. Front board detached, as pictured, and clasps still present but with age-shrunken leather they no longer close. The above is my good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues.

Keep in mind that vintage/antique books always show their age. It would be impossible to mention every tiny detail, so please expect that there will be something about this book (or set) that's not perfect. I'LL BE GLAD TO ANSWER.
