ORIGINAL 1797 TWO VOLUME LEATHER FOLIO KING JAMES HOLY BIBLE WITH UNUSUAL COLONIAL DRESS HAND-COLORED ENGRAVINGS / PLATES! "THE HOLY BIBLE, CONTAINING THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS" London Printed by M. Two Folio Volumes measuring 12" x 9" each! Both Volumes have their Original Leather Bindings!

There are Very Unusual Exquisite Art Hand-Colored Full Page Engravings by the Famous Bartolozzi, Strutt and others , most in the second Volume that show the people Dressed in Colonial 1700's Clothes! Exceedinly Rare, Not in Herberts!!! This appears to be an Unrecorded Bible, and, a Singular existing Bible.

This exact Bible was Auctioned in 1909 by Anderson Galleries. Other than that, there are NO records of this Printing anywhere else that I can find. If anyone else can find a copy or a record of another copy please let me know. Both Volumes are Totally Complete, the only issues are: The Title Lable on the Spine of Volume 2 is chipped off, and some one has cut off small Blank sections of both Titles where someone had written their names, also all 4 hinges are weak and starting and will need rehinging but they are still attached. DON'T LET SOMEBODY ELSE BEAT YOU TO THIS MUSEUM PIECE!
