Covers a little rubbed, otherwise very good Size 7 by 10 inches Text in English =================== The 1795 "Child Killer" Bible gets its nickname from a significant misprint in Mark 7:27.The correct verse in Mark 7:27 reads (in the King James Version), "But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs". However, the 1795 edition mistakenly printed "killed" instead of "filled". This error resulted in the verse reading, But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be killed... This dramatic and unfortunate misprint led to the Bible being referred to as the "Child Killer" Bible.
