1763 1st Edition Rare Book - German. Printed in Philadelphia, 1763, by Henrich Miller. Who Served As a Journeyman for Benjamin Franklin. First Edition - 146 Pages - Original Binding. Contains bookplate of Henry R.

Bishop, who my research (though not conclusive) suggests was the same Henry Bishop who served as a captain in the South Carolina militia during the American Revolution. Size: 18mo - 6½ x 3¾ not counting the cover Numbered Pages: 146 Binding: Leather (original). Very nicely preserved; f rom a non-smoking environment ; old book odor / no mildew odor.

I find no marked, missing, or abused text pages. Light dampstain on pages toward back of book. Pullout is torn, as pictured.

Small loss of leather at top of spine, shelf wear, and joints beginning to crack; otherwise, the cover is in extraordinary condition for being original. The above is my good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues. Keep in mind that vintage/antique books always show their age.
