Buck designed a rotary with 58 different parts. The very first "long wind" Waterbury timepieces made in 1878.These timepieces had skeletonize movements with open "paper face" dials, that made the inner working visible. They used 58 parts that were both "unique" and "attractive". The company was eventually re-organized in march of 1880, as the Waterbury watch co. And in 1898 became the New England Watch Co.
