One bump to the edge of the front cover.
Back one is pretty good - 1 very small hole// front on is split, along with part of the spine, and has been glued down to prevent further splitting - see last picture, a bit split at the bottom [apx 2.5] & 2 very, very small holes. Spine ends - good - a bit worn and chipped, but not too bad for its age. Very good - a wee bit worn. Inner hinges - very good.Pages - sporadic spotting throughout - apx 5% heavy, 45% light to medium, and 50% light. Rips /folds - none that I saw. Gilt on spine remains quite bright - a good solid book.

This book is very old and. May have accumulated bad smells along the way [musty basement/ mildew/ smoke]. Dryer sheets in them for a few months makes a world of difference! My nose doesn't work like it use to. So the old book smell doesn't bother me.
As far as I can tell -this book does not smell bad.
