Pinhead, Foodini, Easter Bunny on the cover of TV Guide, April 16-22, 1949. A RARE Vintage "Pre-National" TV Guide with New York Metro listings. 5 1/2" x 8 1/8". The "Pre-National" issues of TV Guide were published during a time before the national magazine came out in April of 1953.

Multiple cities had magazines with TV listings before TV Guide bought up most of it's competitors to consolidate them into a national magazine with editions that would feature articles with national interest for TV viewers from coast-to-coast, while providing a TV listings section with local ads for different regions of the country. Inside includes many favorite old shows. One of the things I enjoy about these older magazines is the "Letters to the Editor" - Always entertaining to read! Good with general wear, with several bends.

Inside listings pages are unmarked. Subscription address on the top margin of the back cover. See the photos for the most accurate condition. Includes 2 sheets of strong, thick cardboard and a plastic bag in every package. I stamp "Do Not Bend" in several areas on each package.
