Rare Japanese Bk Puiforcat Silver French Art Deco
"Puiforcat Orfevre: Le Maitre de l'Argent, " published by Teien, Tokyo, 2002, 236 pages, large softcover with mounted silver pictorial boards stamped in silver, 12" by 9". Bilingual text in French and Japanese. Gorgeous book on Puiforcat silver, produced for a Japanese exhibition on the French Art Deco master. Lavishly printed and designed, with opaque leaves with text, superb layout and typography, and a suite of photos in the rear with silver details. Profusely illustrated with over 170 color plates of Puiforcat designs for silver, focusing on early 20th-century work, primarily his quintessential Art Deco designs. An exceptional publication - my highest recommendation.
