NOT SURE WHAT THIS BOOK IS ABOUT SINCE I DONT READ FRENCH. SOMETHING LIKE - THE ORIGIN OF THE ARTS AND SCIENCE AND PROGRESS OF ANCIENT PEOPLE. 399 PAGES IN VERY NICE CONDITION CONSIDERING THE AGE.

THERE IS A LIGHT WATERMARK ALONG THE BOTTOM CORNER OF THE PAGES WHICH CAN SEE IN THE PHOTO. THIS MARK IS VERY SIMILAR ON ALL THE PAGES.

OTHERWISE THE PAGES ARE RELATIVELY CLEAN WITH A FEW SMALL LIGHT SPOTS HERE OR THERE. I DID NOT SEE ANY TORN PAGES.

THREE PAGES HAVE A TINY HOLE NEAR THE SPINE. PAGES STILL BOUND TOGETHER NICELY. LEATHER COVER LOT OF WEAR, DISCOLORING. BOOK MEASURES ABOUT 6 3/4" BY 4 1/8". Thank you for looking at my listings.
