To see my son's old books- he has some GREAT ONES! I have been unable to find another copy of this RARE book. It would make a great coffee table book! This book DOES have its title page. English-speaking World, 192 photographic reproductions of views in The Colonies, The United States, etc.

Washington DC, Watkins Glen NY - and others picts. From New York, Yellowstone, several of Niagara Falls, Yosemite.

Multnomah Falls in Oregon, New Orleans, river front Cincinnati, Mitre Peak, Indus river, "negroes" cottages in Georgia, Nassau, New South Wales, Savannah, Hudson River, opium den in SF , Mexico, Chili, Montana, New Mexico, Chicago, Ships, rivers, waterfalls, cities, Churches, buildings, Mts. And tons more -that was only about the first 3rd of the book! As they are part of the description.

There is a fade line on the front cover [zoom in photo]. Back cover looks good - there is a very tiny bit of wear to the top- just a dots worth. Boards and textblock secure, but front cover is slack. Spine ends crunched but good; there is a split on the rear side of the spine about 2.

Pages are very clean and bright with just a few light spots [actually didn't see any]. One page with 2 rips that had been taped a long time ago [shown]. Last page with a fold [shown too]. Flowered endpapers both have shadowing to one side. Front paste down has a "Whitelands College" prize sticker.

This book is very old and. May have accumulated bad smells along the way [musty basement/ mildew/ smoke]. Dryer sheets in them for a few months makes a world of difference! My nose doesn't work like it use to. So the old book smell doesn't bother me. As far as I can tell this book does not smell.
